CFG Final project

From May to August, I did a Full Stack Development Course with Code First Girls. For my final project, we had to work in teams and create a project together. My team and I created a two player guessing game. In the game, the better you know each other, the more points you score.

My amazing teammates were Eleri, Maddy, Meg and Kudzai. I created the signup and login pages. We had one month to do this project on top of our classes and homework so it was very challenging. But we successfully built an SQL database, Python backend and JavaScript front end with React. But I think we aced it with the time that we had and we were all really happy. We did this quick presentation video for the course. We had a very limited time to present our project so it’s a snappy video!

Toon Boom Panel Discussion

I was so delighted to participate in a panel discussion with Joe Sutherland https://www.linkedin.com/in/joe-sutherland-a4939880 and Christina Halstead https://www.instagram.com/risuquin/ for Toon Boom. We chatted about our careers and the different directions a career in the animation industry can take you. If you’re interested in a career in animation, hopefully you might hear something helpful 🙂

Thanks for having me Toon Boom! https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1719996493

norma rig

While I was pipeline director on Netflix’s ‘Dead End: Paranormal Park, I was still delighted to be able to rig the first pass of one of the main characters, Norma, for the show. Norma’s character arc on the show is one of my favourites and her ‘My Frankenstein’ song in season1 ep9 was one of my favourite scenes of the whole series.

Here’s a quick look under the hood at the Norma rig! It was created in Toon Boom Harmony

And here is my favourite scene, just for good measure!!!
